GCS switch cabinet is widely used in the power distribution system of power plant, petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, textile, high rise buildings, and other industries. It is capable of power generation, power transmission, power distribution, power transformation, and power consumption.
GCS switch cabinet meets International Standard IEC439, China National Standard GB7251.1 ‘Low Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment', and JB/T9661 ‘Low Voltage Draw-out Type Switchgear Equipment'.

The cabinet is assembled by KS-type section bars. Standard module E=20mm. Cabinet is electrostatic coated after acid pickling and Parkerizing, which brings a higher bearing capacity.
Baffles and drawers in the cabinet are all processed by galvanization passivation treatment.
GCS switch cabinet applies standard Modula design with independent functional unit, including functional unit, busbar unit, and cable unit.
Horizontal busbar lies at the top of cabinet. Cabinet roof can be opened. The outgoing wires are at the rear or side.
Cabinet protection grade is IP3X-4X.
For the height of drawer 80mm, GCS switch cabinet has series of different unit dimensions of 160/2, 160, 240, 320, 400 and 480. Drawer unit effective height is 1760mm.
For the height of drawer 100mm, GCS switch cabinet has series of different unit dimensions of 200/2, 200, 400, and 600. Drawer unit effective height is 1800mm.
Drawer unit circuit rated current is less than 600A, of which half of drawer units maximum current can be up to 100A.
Drawer unit with same function can be interchanged. Drawer incoming and outgoing wires adopt different connectors for different current.
